This Story Idea is actually based off a Dream I had, This story is entitled Montana. Although I think the location has changed since I first started this Project but this book is full of adventure, mystery and fun. This book is based off my dream, in my dream I found myself living in a small little town surrounded by gorgeous mountains, beautiful valleys and breath-taking nature scenes. I live in this town, I own my own ranch with horses, I teach a small group of children on the nearby Native Indian Reservation, I have adventures within the Mountains of Montana.
Here is the Pre-Face of Montana; this sort of explains where Rachel was before she came to Montana.
Pre Face
Traveling still insure of what I want to do, some school
but not enough for any official degree or a real career. Traveling and passing
through, visiting different places. I found myself in Chicago, I love to admire old Victorian houses.
While admiring these houses, I also noticed an elderly woman out on her porch
in a rocking chair. Suddenly something happened, the woman suddenly fell and
hurt her head. Rushing over, I quickly checked her out and rushed inside to
call a doctor. The woman was sort of out of it and kept mumbling. I could make
out “Doctor” and “cell phone”. I found her cell phone and found her Doctor’s
name and called him. The doctor arrived within a matter of minutes. After he
examined her, the doctor announced that she would be fine. After he realized
that the woman would be OK, he then focused his attention toward me.
“Who are You?” asked the Doctor
“Nobody really I was just passing by and found her.” I
explained
“Well, Thank You very much but you may leave now.” said
the Doctor
“Is there any family I should call?”
“She has no family.” The Doctor replied
“Oh, OK.” I answered
“Wait, where are you going?” asked the Doctor
“To sit with her.” I answered.
THE NEXT DAY
The woman finally woke up the next morning.
“Jim….?” The woman mumbled.
“Yes, Carol; I am here.” The Doctor replied
“What happened?” asked Carol
“Nothing too serious.” explained Jim
“I’m Back!” I yelled from the kitchen
“Who is that?” Carol asked Jim
“Her name is Rachel Bergez and she is the young lady who
found you and called me.” Explained Jim
“You’re awake!!” “How are you feeling?” I asked
“Fine.” Carol answered roughly confused
“Really is that true Jim? I asked the Doctor
“Perfect Bill of Health.” Said Jim
We all remained and talked but after awhile Jim decided to
leave.
MEETING
CAROL
“Hello, my name is Rachel Bergez, Nice to meet you.”
Carol nodded and then asked a question: “What is a young
lady like your self doing here with me?”
I answered her simply; “I wanted to make sure you were
alright.”
I left soon after our meeting but within the next few
weeks I returned everyday to visit and talk with Carol. Talking and sharing my
story and soon Carol and I became real close friends and within a few short
months Carol and I grew close to be like a family. Living in Chicago, I had
to try and get a job and support myself until I knew my next move, Carol
stepped in and took me under her wings.
Both being out the best in each other, I shared with Carol
my passions, my interests in the Native American culture, my love for capturing
the moments in my photography, my dream to live in the natural beautiful
mountains, with the wild horses running free through out with adventure
somewhere in Montana. Before
I knew it, six months has gone and passed. I truly wondered about my future
plans from not so subtle hints from Carol and my parents checking in. Carol
would always encourage me to pursue my dreams.
“Sweetie,
you must pursue your own dreams.” – Carol
“Yeah, I know.” I sighed
“Seems to me like you are hesitating for some reason?” -
Carol
“No, not really, I just don’t know how to do what I plan.
I mean I am not sure how or when to make my plans possible so I am waiting for
a sign.” I explained
Carol and I would always sit on the porch, at the end of
the day, talk and laugh about our dreams. We had all the time in the world,
with not a care in the world or so I thought?
Little did I know, Carol’s heath was failing and then one
day….. I came home from work and Jim was there. Mr. Jim Cooper is the doctor, I
met from before. He was at Carol’s house along with Mr. William Turner; Carol’s
lawyer. Both had something hard to tell me about Carol. Carol had failing heath
and died this morning. After explaining about Carol, Mr. Turner gave me a
letter from Carol.
The Letter;
Rachel,
Don’t
be sad for me. You are the most amazing, young lady, you kept me far longer
than I could have ever imagined. You have done so much for me, but I have one
last request for you. Do this for Me. Pursue your dreams, in what ever they might be.
Rachel, you have been the grand daughter I never had. So I leave you with all
the means necessary for you to full fill your dreams. Your Dreams, your Plans,
Follow your Heart. Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today. And Don’t
think I’m not watching you from up here. I want the young lady, who made me
live again, Live her Life!
Love
Always,
Carol.
After gathering myself, I met up with Mr. Cooper the
doctor and Mr. Turner the lawyer in the living room.
“Is this for real?” I
asked
“Yes, as you know Carol was the
last remaining heir to a family fortune and it was her wish that you use this
to do something great. Carol would always tell me about the greatness she knew
you would do. She wanted her money to go toward greatness. It’s all legal and
air tight, so this is the last business act I will be performing on behalf of
Carol. ”Mr. Turner turned to leave,
“Wait! Don’t Leave! I cried I
want you to be my lawyer and you to be my doctor.” I smiled, “So when I return
I will be calling on you.”
“Where are you going?” asked
Mr. Cooper
“What are you going to do?”
asked Mr. Turner
